I was worried about how this week would look. Starbucks twice, take-out twice… and my grocery bill was a bit bigger than usual (bought a bottle of balsamic vinegar)… but you know what? I put 70% of this week’s spending on debt! SEVENTY PERCENT!

That is all.

70% and 11% towards debt and savings respectively is awesome. I also like the balance your spending seems to have by still having a little wiggle room for a little extras like starbucks. A treat once or twice is good for you, so long as you don’t over indulge.

I’m trying to learn not to feel guilty about small indulgences… thanks for the boost in confidence!

Wow 70% that is amazing! My average is usually 55% and I thought that was good! You just gave me something new to shoot for.

Bah! If you ever hit 71%, I’m going to have to try for 72%… :P

Looks like you had a great week! 70% is fantastic :).

    • Cait March 22, 2012 at 8:36 am

      Thanks! :D

Good job!! Sometimes a Starbucks treat is needed! Especially with all your hard work at the gym.

    • Cait March 22, 2012 at 8:37 am

haha, but isn’t that why I shouldn’t be going there? Because I’m working so hard? ;)

  • Saving My Toonies March 19, 2012 at 5:21 pm

What a great week. Look’s like you’ve found yourself a good balance!

    • Cait March 23, 2012 at 5:01 pm

      Trying to! Thanks :)

  • Cassie March 19, 2012 at 5:49 pm

That’s awesome! It would be hard for anyone to say anything about your occasional Starbucks when you’re putting 81% of your income towards bettering your financial situation. Well done!

    • Cait March 23, 2012 at 5:02 pm

If anyone bugs me about it, I’ll tell them you said that! haha ;)

70% towards debt is phenomenal. I raise my glass to you!!
